Akashic Records

What the Akashic Records are
The Akashic Records are described, in theosophical and later spiritual writing, as a field that holds the record of every soul: its lives, choices and lessons. Practitioners say they reach it through a prayer or protocol, then read what is shown. What comes back is best understood as testimony rather than data. It is offered, and you decide what to do with it.
What a reading is like
In a typical reading the practitioner opens the records with a spoken prayer, asking to see you through the eyes of your guides and teachers. You bring questions. The answers come through the reader as images, words or feelings, and a good reader will tell you plainly when nothing is coming. Readings are often done over video, and many readers record them so you can listen again.
My own reading
I had an Akashic Records reading with Suzie Ridley in early 2024, at a time when a lot was opening for me at once. I came with a long list of questions about my work, my health and what I was being shown in my own sessions. The guidance I have carried longest was simple. Trust first, and let the understanding come afterward. Record what comes through, even when it makes no sense yet. More will be made available as and when it is needed.
That turned out to be true. Pieces I received in that reading only fit together much later, after other sessions with other practitioners. Looking back, the reading was less about answers and more about learning how to hold questions.
How to take in a reading
- Write down or record everything, including what doesn't land yet.
- Notice what feels true in your body rather than what sounds exciting.
- Treat dates and predictions loosely. Timing can shift with the choices people make.
- Keep your own judgment. A reading is a mirror, not a set of instructions.
Going further
If a reading has stirred something you would like to work with, The Recalibration is a 60-minute private session on Zoom with intuitive guidance, light language and energetic clearing. You don't need to choose a modality before booking.
Questions people ask
Can I access my own Akashic Records?
Many people say they can, through prayer, meditation or a learned protocol. Often it starts with small impressions rather than full answers.
Is an Akashic Records reading the same as a psychic reading?
They overlap. An Akashic reading usually focuses on the soul's path and patterns rather than on predicting events.

If this conversation is close to what you are actually living with, The Recalibration is where that work happens here — 60 minutes. Nothing on the podcast is a pitch for it; the practice and the conversations simply come from the same place.
